world stopped

The day..this world stopped for me..
I saw the things which were never there,
and couldn't see the pain which was once everywhere..
I saw the day smiling with me,
which was once laughing at me..
The day..this world stopped for me....

The day..this world stopped for me..
I could feel that love which was never seen,
could feel the rain which was within..
I could dream the day made for me,
in which, it had a 'you', a 'me' and a 'we'..
The day..this world stopped for me....

The day..this world stopped for me..
no war was there, it had blasts neither,
peace, pleasure and happiness in all weather....
I heard....
a call, saying..wake up, again and again..
I heard....
a voice, saying..rise up, again and again,
It was the day this world stopped for me....

Now..it's clear to me what to do..
clear to me how to do..why to do..
time to run for the dreams..fight for the dreams..
wake up for the dreams..

It was the day which was made for me..
the day..on which this world stopped for me....

DO U THINK GOD EXISTS???

HEY FRIENDS I CAME ACROSS A NICE STORY...THIS IS THE ANSWER FOR THOSE WHO DONT BELIEVE ON THE EXISTANCE OF GOD!!!!

It seems to be a good logical answer.

A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed.

As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation. They talked about so many things and various subjects. When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said: "I don't believe that God exists."

"Why do you say that?" asked the customer.

"Well, you just have to go out in the street to realize that God doesn't exist. Tell me, if God exists, would there be so many sick people? Would there be abandoned children? If God existed, there would be neither suffering nor pain. I can't imagine a loving a God who would allow all of these things."
The customer thought for a moment, but didn't respond because he didn't want to start an argument. The barber finished his job and the customer left the shop. Just after he left the barbershop, he saw a man in the street with long, stringy, dirty hair and an untrimmed beard. He looked dirty and unkempt.

"How can you say that?" asked the surprised barber. "I am here, and I am a barber. And I just worked on you!"

"No!" the customer exclaimed. "Barbers don't exist because if they did, there would be no people with dirty long hair and untrimmed beards, like that man outside."

"Ah, but barbers DO exist! " answered the barber. " What happens, is, people do not come to me. "

"Exactly!"-affirmed the customer. "That's the point! God, too, DOES exist! What happens, is, people don't go to Him and do not look for Him. That's why there's so much pain and suffering in the world."

credit Card woos.

Credit Card companies can cut costs in the way called credit Card Swiping Cafe.
With a majority of Credit card companies having losses, if I am not wrong, then this is a good idea. I believe, this will definitely result in savings to the companies
The Credit Card companies value the currency or money in terms of plastic, so it would not be wrong to say that it values the money as good as peanuts(credit repair).

So even if the Savings for the Credit Card companies are in peanuts from the Credit Card Swiping Cafes, the Credit Card Swiping Cafes (CCSC) ought to still become a reality.
So a better alternative for them would be a swiping cafe setup at quite a few places so that the expense of the Credit Card companies can be reduced(clean credit).

Will it not make sense. If the Credit card companies want to popularize the use of Credit cards they would have to make an investment for the long term. They can't wait for every vendor to have a Credit card system or they will never grow their business.

Why should consumer pay 1% extra fee anyways? He is already paying exorbitant interest rates. He might as well pay cash and save 3%(fix credit).

This is an interesting idea, unfortunately, I don't think its gonna work.In a country where people die of starvation, peanuts are sometimes the only bread and butter for the day. So peanuts should be valued.
But this would result in some savings for sure. Now what exactly is a Credit Card Swiping Cafe:

Normally a Credit card companies takes around 2% in every transaction and the customer gives or rather pays 2%.
Instead, in this the customer pays 3%, 2% of which is to the Credit Card Company and 1% to the person who provides the swiping service. CCSC are those which would be set up like the cyber cafe. The person running the CCSC will generally have types of people entering in his premises.
a) the business person
b) the end-user
c) the law-enforcing agencies
The CCSC will have at least one Credit card swiping machine. The end-users who wish to buy a particular product or service {nowadays service is also regarded as a form of business} from the business companies, selling the product and/or service will visit the cafe along with the business owner or the Business Owner can send someone.
Both will carry their identity proof, the end-user will get the card swiped at the CCSC at an extra 3% and make the payment to the business owner.
The CCSC owner will note down the identification details.why would the seller not have a card terminal at his own premises? The seller most definitely can but he need not at an urgency.
I believe all Credit card companies are complaining of not doing good business.Add to it the fact that they use very harsh steps on people to extract money. Now the swiping machines do cost something and are not free.If the Credit card companies give it for free they are at a loss. Also the Credit card companies also provide the service on the swiping machine free of cost to the seller. So a better alternative for them would be a swiping cafe setup at quite a few places so that the expense of the Credit Card companies can be reduced.

VALUE OF LIFE

It was 9:00 pm. Ankitha was getting ready for dinner when the doorbell rang. She opened the door and was surprised to see 2 policemen.
“Mrs. Sharma”?
Yes.
Madam, your husband has met with an accident. He is admitted in a hospital.
Ankitha stood speechless. She started to weep. The policemen felt sympathy towards her they comforted her and took her in the van.
On the way she began to think about Aneesh Sharma. Aneesh Sharma Her college mate, her best friend, her competitor and now her soul mate. They fell in love and after completion of their education, got married.
For last17 years they had led a very simple meaningful, normal life. But slowly things began to change.
Aneesh would come home late. He used to show his frustrations on her. She began to doubt Aneesh.
It was on one such occasion when she met Aneesh’s colleague in a grocery store.
Hello Mr. Kapoor how r u?
I am Fine, What about you?
I am also fine. Its seems the work is hectic
What! Who said this?
I felt it because Aneesh always comes home late and goes early in the morning.
I am sorry to say this Mrs. Sharma, Your husband has lost a job .It seems he and Anita were having affair.
This was the biggest blow in Ankitha’s life. In the evening there was argument, which led to quarrel, and suddenly Aneesh gave a tight slap on ankitha’s face.
After that incident both of them neither spoke to one another. A week passed. Aneesh felt guilty of slapping Ankitha n she felt guilty of starting the argument. Both never spoke.
One day when Ankitha was purchasing vegetables some one from behind called her. “Mrs. Sharma”.
She was slim, fair, beautiful not less than 30 years. Mrs. Sharma I am anitha. Her whole body began to drench in fire when she heard her name. But she composed herself and took Anita to a nearby restaurant.
After accusing and rebuking Anita she sat down n began to drink water, suddenly Anita spoke up in a calm and composed manner
Sharma Aunty you are like my mother. Infect as you said there was a relationship between and sir. Yes. He was, is still a father to me
It was he who found out that the guy with whom I was going was a rouge. He did not have any good character. I wanted to leave him but he did not leave me. He began to follow me wherever I went. When I told this to sir, he came to my rescue. Unfortunately the guy turned to be the MD son. It was because of this Sir and me were suspended from the company. And his son spread the rumor that we were having affair.
Every day Sir would come to my house in the morning to check my safety we would attend the interviews and in the evenings we would be back. He really felt bad for his behaviour. Luckily Sir got a job today in a reputed firm. I came to convey this
How do u know I am Mrs. Sharma?
Aunty, Sir always carries your photograph in his wallet. Then she spoke in a soft matured voice.
Aunty, the whole world may speak ill of him. How could you believe it? You know him from such a long time. Sir is what he was before. He is not changed .In fact when I was frightened or lost my confidence, he would tell about your strong determination, never give up attitude which would be an inspiration to me.
Sir is always yours, was always yours, will be always yours. Saying this she went away.

Tears came from Ankitha’s eyes. Tears of gratitude, Shameful tears. She let it flow. She remembered how she fought with him.
How could I face him? Anyways I will still beg for my forgiveness. He will forgive me or not? Thoughts kept on creeping in her eyes.
They reached the hospital. Mrs. Sharma I am sorry to say, your husband is in critical condition. This shattered her completely. Slowly she entered ICU.
Aneesh she said in an apologetic tone. I am sorry for what has happened. I am extremely sorry for hurting you. You are my friend, guide, philosopher, and my soul mate. I should not have trusted anyone except you. Please forgive me Aneesh. Will you? I am waiting for you

Sip the love-A story

Frank Willis was seated in a hotel and was sipping a cup of coffee. A beautiful young woman came and sat opposite to him.She too ordered for a cup of coffee.

Her face seemed somewhat familiar to him and he was wondering where he had seen her before?

Anyways, she was just another stranger to be forgotten soon.He placed the empty cup on the table and looked at his bill. His hand reached for his back pocket of his trouser. There was an expression of shock in his face as he searched his other pockets as well.

'Did you lose something?' She asked, looking at him curiously.

'Yes…my wallet' He replied, looking at her.

'And do you expect me to pay your bill?' She asked.

'I would really be grateful if you could do that favour for me' He said.

'You’re good at it' She said.

'Good at what ?' He asked.

'Lying!' She said.

'Come on, miss, I am telling you the truth and you are…' He said.

'Alright, let me believe you for a while…tell me, what was the last good thing you had done in the recent past ? If I am convinced then I will pay your bill' She said.

'Fine, it was sometime back when I was driving in my car in the freeway that I saw a car accident. The driver of the car was a female and her head had hit the steering of the car.She was unconcious and her pulse rate was feeble.I didn’t think that she will make it….' He said.

'Yes, continue…' She said.

'Anyway, I wanted to give one best try to save her life, so I rushed her to the hospital and I went to see her the next day. But, they had discharged her. Actually, I went to give back this chain to her' He said, taking out a golden chain with a pendent from his coat pocket and showing it to her.

'Nice story…you are almost the hero of it' She said 'And did you steal it from her?'
'Come on, Miss' He said.

'Just kidding. Tell me, if you meet her again then what would you do?' She asked.

'Well, I would propose to her' Frank said.

'Then will you marry me?' She asked.

'What?' He asked, shocked.

'Well, I'm that woman whom you had saved that day' She said, pulling her hair up and showing the mark of the cut on the right side of her forehead.

'Oh, I'm so glad that I finally found you' He said.

They were about to leave when the waiter took a wallet from below the chair, where Frank had seated so long and gave it to him.

'Oh, thanks' Frank said ' It should have fallen down when I had pulled my handkerchief out of my pocket'

Only Frank knew that he had dropped it deliberately and she grinned thinking that she was not the woman whom he had saved that day.

Sensex and the Down Fall.-An opinion

Sen sex has 30 companies in it,, and the points you see of sen sex are the average prices of those 30 companies registered under BSE, while nifty is national stock exchange and it is average of fifty companies. Sen sex has dipped to 10000 from 20000,, this means that many of the companies have lost half of their share prices.. This fall of markets is due to the immense selling pressure by the FII's, they are pulling out their money from here and so the liquidity has decreased in the markets,, and moreover due to the volatility of markets, new people are also afraid in entering the market.. So the volume of transactions are less, so the RBI is cutting down the CRR (credit reserve ratio), every bank has to give some percentage of money to the RBI, this is the reserve used by RBI, they had to cut down this ratio so that the more money will be circulating in the market and it will get rejuvenated,, they have injected around 60000 crore rupees in the market, world crisis are due to increase in crude prices,, the Lehman brothers rumored that the price will touch 200$/barrel and they artificially increased the prices, but their scandal was opened and thus the prices fell down all of a sudden resulting in their bankruptcy,, many big companies had their money in it and they also suffered the losses due to it's bankruptcy. so in order to have more liquidity and capital they are pulling away their money from every market of the world, if u observe then MN C's come mainly from USA, and if they start pulling away money then it will result in crisis. If u still have any doubt then feel free to ask me.. I hope u understood what u wanted to know.

Have anyone of you wondered that even though the American economy is falling down, it's value against rupee is increasing at a tremendous rate. Sub prime crisis does not occur in one day. If u give a close look at our market then u would come to know that to reach from 19000 to 20000 it took months of time,, but to reach from 20000 to 21000 it took only 49 trading sessions, i.e., 49 days.. This was done only to make more people invest in the market,, otherwise a normal market cant go at such a rate,, they pulled our markets up n then they suddenly threw it away.

Now talking about crude, it was Lehman brothers who rumored that the crude prices will touch 150$/barrel.. and this created a havoc among many nations and thus they went for buying, and it led to artificial rise in crude prices.. But their rumor was left open and the prices suddenly fell down resulting into a great loss for Lehman bros.. Crude prices were about 136$ and then they fell below 110$.. But, before three days of their filing bankruptcy,, Meryl lynch invested 17bn$ in it,, their investment was also choked up,, and they too had to file bankruptcy..

Now,, the FII's invest here in dollars.. when they book their profits,, we have to pay them back in dollars and not in rupees.. Many people lost their money in markets.. where did that money go? it went to FII's.. We pay them in dollars.. and here the demand for dollar is rising while the reserve is decreasing with the RBI,, n this is making dollar more powerful in terms of rupee.. Our economy is just being played.. The foreign agencies were successful in pulling out the maximum money from Indian public.. People opted in investing in markets,, rather than saving it. If u still have any ques u can ask.. because i think i may have missed somethings.

Badagar Community

I belong to Badagar community ,which forms the largest community inhabiting the Nilagiri region of Southern India. we have around 150,000 peoples in 370 (app.) villages as Badagars in the region, but now they have mixed with people all over India and world too.
Badagars are basically agricultural people cultivating Tea, Cofee, and almost all vegetables. Our Language is "Badagu" which is a dilect of Kannada, an Indian Language. The intresting feature of Badagu language is that their is no written script , its only spoken orally among fellow Badagars.
Their has never been a clear history on Badagars origin , but many believe that we descended from Karnataka,Southern India. Our cultural aspects are very distinct from any other group. Even though we Badagars are Hindu devotees, we have a affinity to nature worshipping. Badagars live in small villages called "Hatti", each located either above a hill or in the valley of Nilagiri,Southern India. Each Village(Hatti) has an elected head known as "Gowdar" who controls and leads others in that Village(Hatti).

Badagars have certain unique aspects they are
1)dressing-
  • A typical Badagar Man wears a "Dhothi or Mundu( Long cotton wear)" ,"Dupatti(worn on shirts)" and "Kovili(turban)"
  • A typical Badagar Woman wears a "Thundu", "Dhothi or Mundu" and a Shawl
2)Dance and Music-
  • Badagar dances during Wedings, Birth anniversaries, Funerals etc.,
  • Have a unique style of dancing which involes bending up and down , dancing in groups.
  • Music mainly consits of hard beats.

Yes he did!-Obama

America's next president Barack Obama said change is to come while in his campaign and here it comes, as he becomes the first African-American president . No one in the world seem to dislike him, winning with a landslide majority he proves that dedication and hard work pays.
He is gonna assume house in January 2009, as the world expects nothing but a "change" from him. Will he be able to control the economic recession?, the war at Iran/Iraq?, how is america's relation with other countrys gonna be? Answers will be soon realised.
After being elected as the next president , he assembled a team to help him. They are Cheif of Staff is Rahm Emaneul, senior advisor is David Axelrod,Transistion co chair is Valerie Jarret , John Podesta and Pete Rouse finally Press Secretary is Robert Gibbs .
Will these men with Obama bring us the "change" we need?
"Yes We Can"-Barack Obama...
Lets hope they do!!

Its Scahin once more!

My Favorite Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar(Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar) born on 24th April 1973 at Mumbai, his Test and ODI debut was at 1989-90 verses Pakistan.Today he has scored his 40th Test Century against Australians at Nagpur . Scoring 109 of 188 balls he did this feat. Congrats Sachin ,he is the greatest cricketer the world has ever seen and will ever see.
Well he is the highest run scorer in both formats of the game ( Test's & ODI's). In test he has a total score of 12,027 runs at an average of 54.02. In ODI's he scored 16,361 at an average of 44.33. Doesn't it suffice to call him a cricket God.
He is definitely making India proud.Hope he scores 20,000 in both the formats of the game(little too much ? :-) ) and let no one ever could touch his achievements. Congrats ! Congrats!!!! We salute you! Especially I do!!!

Love ?

It's so strange that this small little emotion has the capability of making and breaking us at the same time.I am not any expert to comment about this unfathomable feeling but whatever i have penned down here, is completely based on my experiences.

When one is surrounded by love, the feeling of excitement fades away, and one tends to ignore the true love that lies in between the peace and dullness.Love shows up in all forms, even very small and cheeky forms, it has never been a model, it could be the most dull and boring form flowers and romantic moments become boring after a while and they only tend to appear on the surface of the relationship.

Under all this, the pillar of true love stands and that's our life. Love, not words, win arguments.Sometimes we expect far too much from the people around us and because no one can ever live up to those expectations, we are almost always disappointed.Wouldn't it be better if we just let go, and let people be who they are?

Then we'd be able to see them as they are -- with all their beauty and goodness in which we take joy and with all their faults which we can also see in ourselves. When we have put someone up on a pedestal, sculpturing them to fit our needs and desires by smoothing out the rough edges and creating new curves here and there, we cannot see the real person underneath our work.

All we see is the illusion we have created. That is denying the person's real identity and is disrespectful. It's much better for our friends and for ourselves if we drop our expectations and illusions and accept them just the way they are.Whether we realize it or not, everyone we know is very special to us. The most important thing to remember is... Always appreciate the friends that you have. A fight may come and go very easily but a friendship could last forever. The people who make a difference in your life are not the ones with the most credentials, the most money, or the most awards. They are the ones who care.

Have you ever been in love? Horrible isn't it?

It makes you so vulnerable. It opens your chest and it opens up your heart and it means that someone can get inside you and mess you up. You build up all these defenses, you build up a whole suit of armor, so that nothing can hurt you, then one stupid person, no different from any other stupid person, wanders into your stupid life...

You give them a piece of you. They didn't ask for it. They did something dumb one day, like kiss you or smile at you, and then your life isn't your own anymore.

Love takes hostages. It gets inside you. It eats you out and leaves you crying in the darkness, so simple a phrase like 'maybe we should be just friends' turns into a glass splinter working its way into your heart. It hurts. Not just in the imagination. Not just in the mind. It's a soul-hurt, a real gets-inside-you-and-rips-you-apart pain. I hate love!!!!! (untill i get one)

The man who lived forever

One of my favorite stories that i heard as a child was the story of “the man who lived forever”.

There was once a man who was very afraid to die. And so he prayed constantly to God asking him to grant him his wish. So one day God finally answered his prayer and appeared in the man’s dream. God asked him,”What is it that you wish for from me?” The man replied, ” I wish to live forever.” God asked him, “Are you sure about this? Because i am going to grant you only one wish. And you cannot change it back even if you wish to.” The man replied,”I’m sure of it God. I want to live forever.”

God granted that man’s wish and disappeared. The next day the man woke up happy to know that he was never going to die. He lived his life happily. He got married and had a son.

As it goes, its only natural to get old. And with old age comes all sorts of diseases and disabilities.

The man got old. He was diagnosed with many diseases. But he didn’t die. When he crossed 100yrs of age, he became incapable of movement But he was remained alive despite everything.

One fine day his son decided that he had had enough of this. Taking care of the old man was taking most of his time and energy. So the man’s son went to a potter and asked him to make a pot big enough to hold one man’s body. When the pot was ready, the son placed his father inside the pot and placed a lid on it. He asked the pot to be placed inside the cellar. That’s where the old man stayed forever. His son died. Generations came and went but the man remained alive in the pot in the cellar. Once in a while the old man’s great-grandchildren would hear a cough or sneeze from the cellar. But no one cared.

The old man never saw the light of day again. But he is still alive in some part of the world. He can never die and he can’t ask god to take back his wish.

Moral of the story - There is a time for everything. A time to eat. A time to sleep. A time to live. A time to love. And a time to die. And each thing should be done in its time. Trying to change nature’s laws is going to result in major disappointments.

Rahul the Prime Ministerial candidate?

Rahul Gandhi is right choice for Prime mistership. I am not supporting his candidature for being the son of Gandhi family. He has the quality of good leadership. A few quality of Rajiv Gandhi, must be inherited to Rahul. However, I am giving more preference to Smt Sonia Gnadhi. She is best political leader of our country of the present era.But hee is the right bet for indian politics, its not age that matters for Indian politics rather its wisdom, calibre,Maturity to lead the country.
Lets atleast understand as age goes up one do not enhance his wisdom, its only greying of hair that happens. There are lot of people but Rahul Gandhi is the right choice becoz he is working towards it... PM post cannot be offered to ppl sitting at home munching chips and watching TV....
Talking about politicians, our country need young and dynamic blood which can lead the country in a better direction. More that 80% of the politicians are above 80, illiterate and lying on death bed. Do you think they can take nation to the right direction. And the funniest part, you can see then sleeping(Even PMs) during debates, conferences and meetings...Do you think that we need another sleeping PM or politician..Hence he has all rights for this post. Now India needs a national leader.Chances for absolute majority Government. We need stable Government.Senior leaders can help him.If he has clean hand and willing to do something for the people thats enough.
